How to run a Round Robins tournament

  • Please arrive at least five minutes prior to the start of the session.

  • Participants should present their name tag to the coordinator.

  • Non-members must use a “guest” tag, which are available in the chalet, and pay $10.00 before being permitted to play.

  • The matches are arranged using the board system, with a queue line. As such, matches are mostly   according to skill level of all players present with the aim of having the games as fair as possible.

Format of play

  • Each match is 30 minutes in duration.

  • There will be “no advantage” scoring: if a game goes to Deuce, the next point wins the game. The receiving team chooses who is to receive the serve.

  • It is important to note that the coordinator is responsible to make sure everyone uses the board system and participants are expected to play matches to which they have been assigned.
